Theatre as an Act of Faith. Recognising the undeniable role of Filipe La Féria in the history of
Portuguese theatre, and unfolding across the various spaces of the Teatro Politeama — an
emblematic venue in Lisbon, now inseparable from La Féria — this documentary seeks to portray
the vision that guides his creative work. In doing so, it captures a legacy that leads us to believe
that theatre is, so often, passion, a leap into the void, religion — and an act of faith.
